Medik8 Intelligent Retinol 3TR is a lightweight yet moisturising, squalane-based serum supercharged with retinol-booster climbazole to keep it working for longer - enhancing the anti-ageing results without any added irritation. Medik8's Time Release technology helps to minimise irritation while maximising visible results. The Intelligent Retinol serum protects retinol in a polymer reservoir, essentially working as a protective shield between retinol and the skin. The polymer reservoir slows down how quickly the retinol is able to penetrate into the skin, gently delivering the active into the skin throughout the night. Over time, the complexion is left visibly youthful-looking, bright and smooth, with an improved look of firmness.

 

Intelligent Retinol 3TR is recommended for those new to vitamin A, or as an upgrade from Night Ritual Vitamin A.

    • Supercharged 0.3% Vitamin A serum
    • Features Time Release Technology to slow down how quickly the retinol is able to penetrate into the skin, gently delivering the active into the skin throughout the night
    • Enhanced with climbazole - a proven retinol-booster - for more power but without any added irritation
    • Enriched with emollient oil squalane, which leaves the skin nourished and helps to support the integration of retinol into a skincare regime

    Important notes on Retinol
    Made from vitamin A, retinol boosts the collagen your body makes, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin tone and colour. Using a retinol-based product may make the top layer of your skin sensitive, so it's best to apply it at night and wear moisturizer and sunscreen the next morning. It's best to ask your Skin Therapist if using a product with retinol is best for you. Please do not use products with retinol if you are pregnant or lactating.

    Directions for use:

    • After cleansing in the evening, massage 4 drops of retinol across the face, neck and décolletage. 
    • Follow with your regular Medik8 moisturiser. We recommend Advanced Night Restore, designed to be used after vitamin A.
    • Retinol application should be phased in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. Consult a doctor if breastfeeding or pregnant. You should always use a sunscreen in the morning while using vitamin A.
    • Patch testing prior to use is advised.
